South Burlington, Vermont Speed Traps
State Route 7 near Construction Site
This speed trap is located after the speed drops from 35 to 30 in a construction zone (going south). The normal speed is 40 so it is easy to go 40-45. The police are usually hiding in a store parking lot at night.
Airport Parkway
Usualy sitting at an intersection along the whole street, usualy cop on a motorcycle with a radar gun (hiding behind a bush)
Patchen Road
Cops sits hiding his car off the visible road (until you’re on top of him). Speed limit is only 25 (too slow for a road with little inhabitants), but cops don’t seem to bother you until 35mph.
Willison Rd. Near the Ben and Jerry’s along RT7 south of Burlington
They patrol this stretch of route 7 often at night.
Make sure you don’t roll through stop any of the lights when turning onto that road either. many of the side streets don’t have a stop, but many that look the same do, be observant, seen many people get "no stop at light" tickets for those right turns!
