Arlington, Virginia Speed Traps
Route 110 North
Arlington County Police run radar just past the Route 27 overpass at the Mall Plaza Exit into the Pentagon. It is usually a Motor Officer.
Route 27 Westbound @ Pentagon
Arlington County Police will sit on the right side of the highway along Route 27 West, hidden in a slip ramp off the Pentagon Reservation, near the 9/11 Memorial, running radar at vehicles traveling towards Memorial Circle.
Pentagon Reservation
The U.S. Pentagon Police will often sit in the dark at the end of Boundary Channel drive, along the many connector roads, in LBJ Grove Park, and hidden in the massive parking lots of the reservation waiting for speeders. They are primarily looking for drunk drivers and will often follow you to pace you and gather driving behavior for probable cause to stop you. They do have one unmarked radar car with dark tinted windows. "Watch out" for that car specifically at night! They have been known to be ruthless at catching drunk drivers.
South side of Arlington blvd. at Edison Street
Going east on Rt. 50 (Arlington Blvd.) there is a downhiil stretch and at the bottom of it Edison street exits to the right. There is a lot of vegetation around the exit and a radar cop is stationed there very often. Rt. 50 is six lanes wide and the cop is positioned to pick up cars coming down the hill from the west.
Boundary Channel Rd right before turn to 395N
as you come off the GW parkway and you go straight, which takes you to the Pentagon Access Rd. around the Pentagon. If you keep going, you will hit 395. Right before you get to 395, there is a cop that hides on the right side.
