Exiting I-64 on RT 20 driving up a hill at the city limits a Motorycle Officer is usually at the crest of the hill just below Druid AV.
Avon St Ext Street near Elliott Avenue
Avon St Ext south of Elliott Ave and several other streets have now hiked up the fines for speeding in this area. Fines are doubled and tripled at the discretion of the courts. Not including the new $250+ penalty for over 15mph only for Virginia Residents.
250 Bypass near Exit Number Ivy Road
Albemarle Police with sit on the over pass and hit you with radar or lidar as you pass under the Ivy Exit overpass then radio your vehicle description and plate # to the 5 other cops waiting to pull you over about a half mile up the road. I have only see this trap on the west bound side.
29 & 250 Bypass near Interstate 64
From Interstate 64 at Shadwell Exit on 29 & 250 Bypass around Charlottesville , the speed limit falls off from 55 mph. to 45mph at Rivinna bridge and from the bridge on out to 29 north & south Interchange is 35 mph. Biker Cops , Marked & Unmarked City & Albermarle County Patroled all the time!
250 east bound Bypass
Anywhere between City Fire Station 1 and Free Bridge is fair game for Charlottesville Police
