Christiansburg, Virginia Speed Traps

Construction zone, new lanes added, road widened…tempting to go fast but radar is there all the time by the town police and sheriff’s department.

Cop hides on the right headed towards christiansburg after you peak the first mountain, one will also be hidden on the side road after going down the mountain headed towards christiansburg right before you peak the second mountain, one will sometimes hide in the car wash stalls and below the recycle center in the bushes as headed towards radford, and one will sit at the new gas station in the curve parked against the right side back wall as you are facing towards christiansburg & back radaring cars as they go by.

A cop sits at the church, on park street midways, a few have been known to sit at the stock pen up in the lot on the far back left as you are driving down the hill towards the railroad tracks, one has been spotted at the new buildings on park street headed uphill from the stockpen over on the left & across from republic road.

Cop will sit right down below the first hill going down like headed to Shawsville direction, so slow down, it is 25 through there, very dirty spot to sit because you start slowing down for the 25 mile mark after you turn right off the main highway. so beware of that, even if you have to tap the brake a few time, its better than a $200.00 ticket, or a reckless driving charge.

There is generally a Christiansburg officer hanging out in a dirt turnaround near the railroad tracks, trapping people in both directions on Peppers Ferry Rd.
