Henrico, Virginia Speed Traps

Derbyshire Road between Parham and Gaskins. Henrico police usually are in an unmarked Camaro or on a motorcycle sitting on a side street. This is a heavily travelled cut-through road and it is easy to do over the speed limit. The police will not give much of a break if you are caught because it is residential.

Was coming from Hungry Road not really paying attention going about 10 over. It was at around 9. The cop was on the right side of the road taking radar from both sides. He was right behind a big suv so you couldn’t see until it was to late. I had my radar detector and that thing went off about 2 seconds before I saw him. Slowed down and didn’t get a ticket. Had no lights on or anything.
