Lovingston, Virginia Speed Traps

Trap is usually between SR 6 and Wintergreen, Almost daily for the past year. Both State Police and County Police. Citizens uproar over the Number of deaths on 151 in 2006, led to lowering of speed limit and constant patrol by police. Truckers also use 151 as short cut from I-64 E to US 29 S. SR 151 has many warning signs about speed monitoring.

Entering Nelson County on State Highway 29 north or south bound with the City of Lovingston being the mid point town and the county seat. Mostly City of Lovingston marked Police cars and VA State Troopers. Road is rolling hills so many places for authorities to hide.
