Rt. 501N at Appomattox.Rt. 460E exit
Driving into the city from Campbell Co. (Near VDOT) on Rt. 501N, the speed limit drops from 55 to 45. A cop sits near the Appomattox exit hidden from approaching traffic by a curve.

Going North on Wards Road a marked car normally sits back in the lot… looks like a car that’s for sale.
The speed limit is 35, but isn’t posted. Just be wary… he will definitely get you.
Normally see him late night- 11 pm or so.
Rt. 811/709 New London Rd.
Between the Sheets gas station on Rt. 460 W of Lynchburg and Rt. 24 the entire stretch of road is 45mph. It’s only marked at each end, so it’s easy to assume the speed limit goes up to 55, but it DOESN’T. Police patrol this frequently!
Timberlake Road at Leesville
Contanstantly monitor School Zone for Heritage Elementary , They park behind bank or in computer repair shop parking lot. 25 zone gets you everytime.
Cottontown Road
After crossing the first bridge passed the Nissan Dealership all the way to the second bridge on Hawkins Mill Road, the speed goes from 35 to 40 and back to 35. It’s hilly and unless you ride your brakes, you will undoubtedly be speeding.
