Roanoke, Virginia Speed Traps
Williamson Road – near Happy’s flea market.
Roanoke County deputies set up radar virtually every morning and evening at the same location. They park across from the Valero gas station at the top of the hill approaching Happy’s Flea Market.
Route 11, between Hollins College and Plantation Rd
Officers park and set up radar near Northwest Hardware virtually every morning, but especially on Sundays.
Overland Road (near Virginia Western)
Bike cops standing on foot in front of the elementary school hiding behind telephone poles taking radar. 15mph when the light is flashing.
Garstview Circle & Cresthill Dr.
This is a correction of a earlier submission of mine. The County Patrolman usually sits on Garstview Circle facing south, catching speeders going in the East/West direction on Cresthill. If you are headed West he is well from the drivers view.
Cresthill Drive and Hillbrook Drive
Police usually sit on Hillbrook, facing South towards Cresthill Drive. They catch speeders headed west, coming down the hill. Speed limit is 25 all the time.
