Speed limit by Western Virginia Community College at Colonial Ave is 25mph when school light if flashing or NOT flashing! Cops love to catch speeders going east downhill on Colonial Avenue where speed limit is 35 and jumps to 25 even when school is NOT open!

Leaving north on Valley Blvd. emergin on to Avation Blvd, no speed limit signs posted! Then a reduce speed ahead in front of two trucking co. Radar on private property with out consent nor renumeration ,clocks you coming in a no posted zone to a posted @25mph.

County mounties love to sit with radar guns aimed at southbound motorists cresting the hill and doing more than 35. They are on your right just in front of the trees. The speed limit is 45 mph just south of that location, and they also nail northbound motorists who have not adjusted their speeds down to the 35 limit. You cannot see them because they are obscured by the trees. Be warned.
