Interstate 85 and Highway 58 in Mecklenburg county heavily patrolled by State Troopers and County. Mecklenburg has two sources of income, prisons & travelers. Try to avoid I-85. Stay off Highway 58, the speed limits are low, 35 & 45. The courthouse is in Boydton, a rundown, boarded up town square, very depressed. Court is a three ring circus; the judge, officers and local attorneys. If you truly need a competent attorney, Richmond is nearest. They want money! Judge will lead the officer if cornered and ruling made without opportunity for rebuttal. Judge states up front, RADAR is 100% accurate and reliable. Everyone is guilty in this travesty of justice.
