US 13 (nearby Sunset Beach at the northern side of Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel)

Sunset Beach, VirginiaJul 07, 20020 Comments

While I was driving south on US 13 to Norfolk, I have to admit that I was going around 95 mph, when I saw what seemed to be a trooper’s car, I slowed my vehicle down so I wouldn’t get into trouble. Unfortunately, I got caught and as soon as I saw the trooper’s car chase me, I decided the best way was to pull over and talk to him. I got a summons to appear in court in a month, actually two (speeding in a 50 mph zone, I did around a 79, and failing to wear a seatbelt, even though I wore one during the whole trip, the trooper didn’t believe me and gave me the other ticket. I will fight both of the summons and I am looking for support from whomever is available, Thank You!!!

P.S. The trap is about a mile from the northern side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (Sunset Beach, Northhampton County, Virginia), located in the middle of highway on US 13.
