Vienna, Virginia Speed Traps

This road is the widest 25 mph I have ever seen. Between Cross Creek Road and Wall Street (the road adjacent to 123 next to the Toilet Bowl Building) these cops come out of nowhere.

It is very hilly and thus easy to get up over 40 mph. BE CAREFUL!

Fairfax Co. Police have stepped up enforcement on this road due to a accident involving a car striking a pedestrian in the crosswalk outside the L2 North garage exit of the Vienna Metro. Exiting the garage, there are no posted speed limit signs. The speed limit (per the officer) is 30MPH, but traffic regularly flows at 40MPH+. It was clearly evident that the posted limit is not ‘well known’ because the officer directed another motorist to stop while he had ‘someone’ pulled over with his lights on.

Follin lane in residential area before Navy Federal Credit Union. Speed limit is 25 but it is easy to do 40-50 which will yield a $150 ticket.

All of Vienna is a speed trap. Be very careful. I have seen cops sitting in driveways at many points in the town. I have been pulled over a couple of times and didn’t know where they came from. Its almost like they come out of nowhere. They especially prey on teenagers and they WILL want to search, know your rights!
