It doesn’t help that a police substation is at the Rt. 1 end of the road and police cars use the road frequently. So keep your speed down — especially if you drive a Mustang or some other variety of cop magnet.

Speed trap is located on north end of the Occoquan Bridge at the Fairfax County and Prince William County border and is patrolled by Fairfax County police for traffic going both directions. Speed limit is 35, a sharp drop for those coming off of 95-south (Route 1 exit).

Prince William County and Occasional State Police are giving tickets to individuals coming and going to the Rippon VRE.

heading east on dale blvd towards hillendale from hoadly as you come over the hill usually a motorcycle cops sits on the right and steps out into the road to pull you over. his location is just past the fire station, he stands on the right side of the road and usually he is standing behind a car out of sight.
