Southbound on I-5 just before the North Samish on ramp to I-5.

Bellingham, WashingtonJul 08, 20200 Comments

When you are driving southbound on I-5 just before the on ramp to I-5 from North Samish way. There is quite a bend in the road from left to right. The state patrol sits in the gore point waiting for the next speeder coming down the hill. Whatever the reason they seem to think the stretch from where speed goes down to 60 just north of the South Samish way exit to Fairhaven exit as you enter Bellingham is a place to do enforcement.

Billy Frank Jr from E. Laurel St down to E. Chestnut

Bellingham, WashingtonJul 12, 20180 Comments

Because Billy Frank Jr is downhill, police including WWU Police like to hide by the fire station or the apartment complex that has a fairly big parking lot near where Chestnut St is. Keep an eye on the fire station for police vehicles and also parking openings to nearby residences.

Northwest Ave near Shuksan Middle School

Bellingham, WashingtonApr 26, 20100 Comments

Do not speed when the "Children are Present" light is flashing in the morning. Motorcycle cop is there daily (pretty much every morning) hiding on the sidestreet near the nursery. You will not see him until it is too late. I would not even risk 5 over as it is a school zone.
