US Highway 395 near 7th Avenue

Kennewick, WashingtonSep 05, 20050 Comments

Speeds drops suddenly from 55 to 35 between 27th and the Blue Bridge. State Patrol on motorcycles hide by McDonalds on Kennewick Ave and shoot up to 7th. Huge Trap as you are coming into town from the south

Clearwater & Edison Avenue near Kamiakin HS

Kennewick, WashingtonAug 04, 20050 Comments

The Kennewick Police are running ‘stings’ near Kamiakin where they pull over many drivers at once with an officer on foot. Speed limit signs are not very common, and you are reminded when caught that it’s 25 in residential areas unless otherwise posted. It’s basically a speed ambush; if they wanted you to slow down, they would put up more signs, as the streets are lightly traveled and 25 is low relative to similar Kennewick side streets.

State Highway 240 near West Columbia Drive

Kennewick, WashingtonFeb 10, 20050 Comments

Anyone who drives out of Kennewick by West Columbia Drive or by Hwy 395 onto Hwy 240 going towards Richland make sure you don’t go over 55. The state cop sits right off the highway in Columbia Park and will get you everytime early in the morning. A perfect setup for him since you are up high on the onramp that goes onto Hwy 240 and it is perfect pickens for him since you are singled out. This is a real bad speed trap. A real revenue getter.

Highway 240 and Edison St. exit.

When traveling on Highway 240 (either way), a lot of time there may be a state trooper sitting on any of the on/off ramps. Usually its the on ramp so he gets you from the back. Most of the time its towards the end of the week that they are there.
