Hwy 167 north and south

State patrol likes to sit next to the jersey barriers on curves. Mostly at night. There are also gaps in the barriers where motor cycles cops sit with radar and laser. Tickets are normally handed out if you are going more than 70 mph but if you set your cruise at about 66-68, your good. Watch out for the little rice grinders too, they may be cops since they have 3 or 4 of these.

Canyon Dr. & E. Smith St.

Going down Canyon Dr. the speed limit is 40 mph, but at the bottom of the hill the street changes to Smith and the speed limit changes to 30 mph. Every morning there is at least 1 motorcycle cop in a parking lot on the right hand side of the street pointing a radar gun up the hill to either catch you going over 40mph or for not slowing to 30mph. I see tickets here Every Work Day.

The speed limit is 25 MPH. It’s a curvy rural road, with a quarter mile section of sraight away. I’ve seen 1 to 2 motorcycle King County Sheriff’s officers radaring from a barn driveway on a curve midway along in the early mornings at least twice a month for 6 months.

Coming up the 277th St. hill the speed limit is 50mph, once you reach the crest of the hill, the limit drops to 40. 8/10 times, there will be one or more cops on motorcycles or in cruisers just waiting on you to continue on 277th doing 50. They will sit on both the north and south sides of 277th on the small roads.

Russell Rd & W James St

Cop likes to sit at the middle entrance to the park along this road. The car will hide behind a small structure. Sometimes it will be an unmarked blue Crown Victoria. It looks like hes just waiting to pull out, but don’t be fooled.
