Lacey, Washington Speed Traps

Just east of Carpenter on Mullen Road, heading toward the railroad underpass, there are several driveways with trees lining the street. Lacey Police will park the car further back into the driveway and stand out with the gun clocking drivers in either direction. They stand close to the trees so they are harder to see.

Often sit in driveways across from Willows Crossing subdivision. Speed limit is 35 and most are going 45-50.

Speed limit is 40 but despite the curves, can easily handle 50. Cops sometimes park in the driveways of the lite industrial buildings waiting for commuters going over 40.

Whether traveling north or south on I-5, the freeway between exits 109 and 111 (or vice versa) is the 2nd highest ticketing area for the State Patrol (after I5 near Maysville).
