Lakewood, WashingtonMar 18, 20070 Comments

The school has a speed limit of 20MPH but this is a small private school and there is only one sign and no flashing lights the whole zone is maybe 150 feet. Its a very small private school and hardly noticeable. Just 2 blocks up the street is a well marked school zone. The trap is less than 1/4 mile from the Lakewood court house in the town square (Mall)

Interlakken Avenue near Washington Boulevard

Lakewood, WashingtonMar 17, 20061 Comments

Lakewood police sit on the south side of the road consealed to traffic heading east bound as you come over the small hill but visible to all traveling west bound. Interlaaken road is considered a "side road" and not a main street so the speed limit is 25 mphs as opposed to the main roads you merge from which are all 35 mphs (Washington BLVD and Hipkins/104th).
