51st Street near Between 126th and 128th Street

There is a nice hiding place for this unmarked Maroon police car. It hides next to those older apartments along that newer curbed area by the newer homes. I see him with his radar gun out everyday and catching quite a few.

State Highway Old Pacific near NE 47th Avenue

Marysville, WashingtonMar 28, 20060 Comments

Like most Marysville speed limits, the posted limit is well below the safe driving speed and drops from 35 mph to 25 mph without apparent reason such as a change in the character of the roadway or the built environment through which it travels. It is a practice of the Marysville PD to hide in a private driveway behind a hedge just beyond the point where the speed limit drops to 25 mph and write tickets.

84th Street near State Highway 9

Marysville, WashingtonMay 30, 20040 Comments

On 84th St. (Also known as Getchell Hill) approximately 1 1/4 miles west of Highway there is a city park half way down the hill on the North side of the road. The park has a small driveway that the city trucks use to park in when they are working at the park. When maintenance crews are not there however quite often there will be a City of Marysville motorcycle officer waiting in the driveway. Which can be very difficult to spot.

State Highway 528 near State Highway 9

Marysville, WashingtonMay 30, 20040 Comments

On SR 528 approximately 1 mile west of the junction with SR 9 there is a church on the south side of the road where City of Marysville cops wait in the entrance to the parking lot. They target both East and West bound traffic. The 35 mph speed limit seems like your crawling but watch out.

Also if you are headed west on 528 from 9, right after you turn onto 528 there is a driveway on the south side of 528 that leads to a city water resevoir. State Troopers will back up the driveway out of site of west bound traffic and pick them off since it goes from 55 down to 35.
