Mukilteo, Washington Speed Traps

Just after passing Boeing along Paine Field Blvd (526) there is a right turn on to 40th Ave SW. 40th Ave SW turns into 78th ST SW. Right in that spot is a cop hiding with a gun. No matter which direction you come from it is impossible to see. Speed limit is 25mph most going about 35-40mph. This road use to have peacocks on it and it also has the Chop Shop.

At the bottom of steep Harbour Heights Parkway has recently become the workplace for 1000 people and home to brand new Puget Sound View $1m home. Posted 25mph limit is tough considering the incline. Motorcycle and patrol car officers are often at the mid-point for those going down, and at the top for those coming up to Harbour Pointe Blvd.

As you round the corner heading north they are waiting by the park on the leFort The speed limit drops and few people notice and speed right on through.

Heading North off the Swamp Creek Interchange and onto the Mukilteo Speedway, speed limit drops from 60 to 45 and many fail to notice and come speeding around the corner. I’ve seen 4 at a time lining people up!

They sit tucked in where 8th and Church St intersect Mukilteo Spdwy just after the speed limit drops to 25mph. Then again right around the corner in the median at 5th street.
