Mukilteo, Washington Speed Traps

Sits in car at the bottom of the hill and waits for drivers. Posted speed is 25, people go 40-50mph. House owner on street calls to report problems of speeders because he has Peacocks that cross the road and sometimes gets injured.

Coming out of the Interstate the speedlimit is 60, however as it is listed as you cross highway 99, it changes to 45. Not many people like to go 45 since they are already going fast from coming off the interstate. I tried usually to do 45 but got tailed by so many people, so I sped up from time to time…dont do this! I got ticketed there and they were just pulling people over left and right for about a couple weeks. I think since people still speed over the bridge that they will be back to get us!

Police frequently are using radar throughout the city of Mukilteo. Instant on radar is used especially at night, so it’s hard to detect in advance. Watch out traveling through here. The stretch between Mukilteo and Everett on Mukilteo Blvd. is posted at an unrealistic 25 mph for quite a stretch through the town. Be especially careful here and on the entire Mukilteo Speedway.
