U.S. Hwy. 97 S. of Omak by an Old Rest Area
Often the State Patrol will pull into a drive or pull off that is hidden by a slight curve on either side of the road and wait for people to go by. Another one is between Brewster, WA and Omak, WA on U.S. Hwy. 97 north of the weigh station where they will sit and wait for people driving south to go around the curve and get them there. Also, there is a new speed limit and stop light outside Omak and they are catching people coming into town. Then there is the top of the hill on Old Hwy. 97 between Brewster, WA and Omak, WA where they love to catch folks on that backroad.
