The side of the road that the Columbia River is on there is a very small shed, in which there is a sand dune behind it. Travling toward Wenatchee the officer cannot be seen until you actually pass him and by then its too late. Traveling toward Quincy the officer can be seen from farther away it is mainly a speed trap for travelers heading toward Wenatchee.

In the general area noted above on the map, an officer will hide off to either side of the road and there is just a gravel/dirt parking litereally right off the side of the road and since it is hiding on a corner and slight hill, he cannot be seen that well.
