11000 Providence Road West

Richmond, WashingtonSep 29, 20100 Comments

The entire road going west from intersection at Courthouse Rd is 25 mph. From the intersection you encounter two 25 mph speed limit signs close together in a dense residential area. Then an open area going upgrade with no houses or speed limit signs. At the top of the hill half mile from the last sign you think the speed limit is lifted – then a small sign signifying an elementary school. No speed warning. Chesterfield PD sit on the left, in front of the school scanning with radar as you top the hill. Easy pickings on weekends when you think school is not in session. All homeowners in the area are aware of the trap.
