Sea-Tac Airport Road near Sea-Tac Airport Welcome time/temp Sign.
Coming into Sea-Tac Airport, very frequently there are one or more Port of Seattle Police vehicles hiding behind the large "Welcome to Sea-Tac Airport" sign. It is the one that displays the current time and temperature. The speed slows down considerably, despite the fact that it looks like you are on a highway.
Orilla Road
On Orilla Road, just down from the Freeway (I-5), cops have been seen the last few months, hiding in the shrubbery or small diveways that lead into Orilla Road. Nice road, avg speed is 40-55 mph, Speedlimit is 40 mph.
Interstate 5 near 188th Street
Usually Early Sat mornings and Sunday mornings from approx 6:00am-10:00am. Police on foot duty will hide behind the 188th street overpass sign. They will clock you and forward the info to Washington State Patrol units down the road…I see this happening on cars headed north bound on I-5
