Highway 99 (Aurora Ave. ) Near the Battery St. Tunnel in both directions
Up to eight SPD motor officers work this area on a regular basis. This includes hollidays when traffic is at a minimum. The posted limit is 40 mph. They will nail you for five over. The southbound section is downhill and it’s easy pickings.
Admiral Way Hill off of the West Seattle Bridge
Cop sits on side of road or around a corner to trap people speeding up the hill. BE CAREFUL speed limit is only 35 and highly enforced.
15th Ave Ne right off northgate way
Heading south on 15th ave Ne. From Northgate way till about the top of the hill. The bridge is where you need to watch out for. Moto patrol and cruiser both in location of this bridge.
125th from lake city way till 15th ave ne.
Usually this is the worst trap in seattle.As your going up the hill towards 15th ave ne and 125th their will be THREE moto patrols and usually a cruiser tailing. Even if your south bound headed towards lake city way. They will stop you for 35mph. Speed limit is 30mph.
Bottom of the Magnolia Bridge
The officers hide behind the frozen fish factory at the bottom of the hill. They get you coming down the hill on that clear and unobstructed bridge.
