Aurora Avenue near North of Aurora Bridge

Seattle, WashingtonJul 19, 20080 Comments

Motorcycle cops typically lie in wait for northbound traffic on a short side street just north of the Aurora bridge on weekdays until about 11am. Limit is 40mph, but traffic typically flows at approx 50mph +–as this is "against the flow" of normal commute traffic into downtown. They are now also looking for a reason to add-on the secondary offense of talking on a cell phone w/o a hands-free device–an additional $124 eff 7/1/08. (Aurora Ave/Hwy 99 North)
