NE 125th Street near NE 15th Avenue
NE 125th Street, between 15th Avenue NE and Lake City Way. There is a steep downgrade eastward down to Lake City, and unless you ride your brakes, you will be "speeding" above the posted 30 mph limit. A squad car or motorcycle cop often sits on one of the side streets halfway down or at the bottom of the hill. You won’t see ’em until it’s too late.

Interstate 5 near NE 145th Street
Sitting under the NE 145th Street overpass are often more than one Washington State Patrol cars and/or motorcycle cops. You cannot spot them when driving northbound, and by the time you do, they have already clocked you.

West Marginal Way near SW Highland Park Avenue
West Marginal Way South: the mile plus strip that stretches north from Highland Park Avenue to the tangle of intersections underneath the West Seattle bridge. Posted speed limit is 40 mph but road tempts speed with long visibility and easy curves. Police park in driveways on east side of street and are hidden by shrubbery until it’s too late.

Admiral Way near West Seattle Bridge
Admiral way is a steep hill and the speed limit is 30 mph. You must ride your brake to strictly maintain that speed. This is usually enforced by an unmarked car and a motorcycle working together. It is enforced in both
directions. Cars coming off the West Seattle bridge and going up hill are pulled over also.

I-5 North at 145th – they sit under the overpass and radar traffic coming from the south, down the slope.
