Highland Park Boulevard near West Marginal Way
New dark-colored cruiser hides in shadows. Posted speed is 30, well below safe traveling speed. Half a dozen cruisers wait in a driveway around the bend.

E 23rd Avenue near E. Aloha Street
As 23rd Ave. heads downhill (north) from E. Aloha, cars pick up speed in a 30mph zone. People are going 45mph by the time they get to Montlake neighborhood (Boyer), and many tix are being issued.

Lake Washington Boulevard near US Highway 520
Exiting the arboretum (toward 520) there can be a motorcycle cop waiting near the EB entrance to 520. Usually in good weather. As you make the last left turn, slow to ~the limit until you can see that he is not there, then you may speed up again.

Interstate 5 near NE 130th Street
Officer uses radar to catch speeders on South Bound I-5. He will sit on the 130th street on ramp (on to SB I-5) and since it is much higher because the ramp is a slope, he can get a clear view of traffic and speed down the hill fast to catch up to you. Not sure if he uses radar or laser.
