Snoqualmie, Washington Speed Traps
Unmarked Extended cab pickup sitting at the bottom of the hill around the corner facing the other direction.
Between Center Drive and the Highway 18/I-90 Interchange. Snoqualmie Police have been setting up regular speed traps to catch people coming down the hill and exceeding the posted 40 MPH limit.
Driving West from Snoqualmie Pass towards Seattle, you climb up and down hill, watch yourself on the downhills where the Interstate is badly lit. Dark coloured Police car using laser hidden under cover of darkness!
The entire length of Snoqualmie Parkway from SR-202 to I-90 is ridiculously underposted at 35 mph for a 4 line divided road. The sidewalks are set back 10 yards with a grass median on each side. Traffic flow along this stretch is generally 45 mph where locals know they can get away with it, but the downhill stretches in each direction are patrolled regularly by the Snoqualmie City Police.
Be especially aware east of Center Blvd. down toward SR-202 where the new home construction is taking place.
