Spokane Valley, Washington Speed Traps
I-90 Near The Valley Mall and Near N Sullivan Rd.
Every summer state patrol focuses on tickets by airplane. Heading westbound between Liberty Lake, WA and N Sullivan Rd. the airplane radio’s have well over 5 or 6 cars and motorcycle cops usually hiding on the west side of N Sullivan Rd. on the Interstate on ramp. Note radar detectors don’t pick up airial radar! Always look up in this area. Most days throughout the year you can find state patrol cars hiding out in this area ready to tax you with a speeding ticket. Also, unmarked cars frequent the area looking for their latest victim! They make lots of money here!!! 5 cars pulled over every 15 minutes ads up fast at a minimum of $120 per ticket this is pure and simple a speed trap for creating revenue!
McDonald Road near Trent Avenue
McDonald from Trent to Upriver Drive is a 25mph zone. There are two slightly large rises in the road with a dip in between. I’ve seen motorcycle LEO’s camped out in that little dip with radar guns pointed at the top of each rise. It’s very hard to do 25 down that stretch after getting off of Trent at 50mph.
State Highway 27 near Pines Road
Many of the locals who wash their cars at The Bubble Machine will head south for two blocks to pick up hiway 27 and "air dry" their cars. When an aquaintance doing this got tagged for going well over the posted 45 mph, the cop walked up and said "drying your car, huh?" Easy pickin’s.

Sprague Avenue near Farr Road
Unmarked in the parking lot at the old Eagles Hardware right by the Mustard Seed. Sometimes he/she is further West on Sprague. He/she gets someone almost every morning. Speed limit is 35 and most people do 40 and he/she does not pull anyone over. It appears if you go over 40 that’s when you will get pulled over.

University Road near 16th Avenue
School zone at University Elementary. It’s only 20mph but I usually go 15 or less just in case. The guys are there in the mornings and afternoons. Please watch out for kids and do drive slow!
