South bound Division near north foothills drive

Spokane, WashingtonJun 06, 20031 Comments

at least 2 cops at, almost all times, sit near the bottom of the division street hill. why does a four lane road, also known as hwy 395 and hyw 2, have a 30 mph limit?! you have to speed to get all the green lights, if youget one red, you get them all! heavily "trapped for the morning rush

They just sit behind buildings all mid-day and generate revenue. There is no leeway. If you are going 31, you will probably be adding revenue to the city. This is one of the biggest drug/meth areas in town and all they can do is write speeding tickets. Just my opinion.

29th at Pittsburgh

Spokane, WashingtonApr 04, 20030 Comments

Watch out when on the South hill in Spokane headed west bound on 29th. There is a church before you get to Pittsburgh and the police will hide behind the church sign on Pittsburgh in marked and unmarked cars. I have only seen them out during the day if it is clear and sunny. I live a block from there and have seen them use the spot 2 & 3 times a week.

nine mile road

Spokane, WashingtonJan 28, 20030 Comments

right at the intersection of nine mile road and Lyons near the gas station. This is right where nine mile road changes from 50mph limit to a 35mph limit. Enforcement is ussually a hidden motorcycle unit. Tickets for 20-25mph over the posted limit are common here because the exact point where the 35mph limit starts and ends is vauge and tickets are allways issued in the 35mph zone which is 2 lanes in both directions and looks just like the 50mph zone.

I-90 Eastbound Argonne Exit

Spokane, WashingtonSep 05, 20020 Comments

Usually a white camero with dark tinted windows waits at the side of freeway and pulls over speeders that exit the freeway at the Argonne exit.
