A cop, in a varity of vehicles from marked cars, to motocycles to unmarked white or marron SUV’s park on the LEFT side of the freeway and zap you with a radar gun as you come upon them sight unseen as you come off the bridge headed north on I-250 between Oregon and Washington. They meanly wave you over to the left side of the road, and in my case startled me badley by stepping out into the lane to point at me. State Highway SR 500 near Interstate At I-205

SR 500 from the Gher Road exit to the Andresen Road exit is a favorite area for Washington State Patrol to catch speeders. I have seen both police motorcycles and police cars regularly patrol this stretch of area. The speed limit is 55 even though it is a divided highway with exits. I see the most people pulled over in the mornings and early afternoons.
