Woodland, Washington Speed Traps

Head towards Mount St. Helens by driving 4 miles east of I-5, along WA-503 S / Lewis River Rd. The trap is located on a mile-long straight stretch, between coitus valley church and franky abel cemetery.

Air coverage of area between Exit #22 and Exit #27. Not consistant but when on, officers will line up and go after offenders from the onramp south of Exit 22. They cover both North and South traffic. Traffic tends to go 10 over the limit in this area.

I-5 bypasses Woodland. Both Southbound and northbound, you will cross a bridge just as you are approaching Woodland. The speed trap is always set up in the area between the two bridges.

Target people getting on the Freeway On-Ramp… drivers are stopped while geting up to freeway speed (70mph)
