Arden-Knollville Road near Orr’s Fruit Market
Travelling northbound from Inwood, the sparsly posted limit on this road is 35. But, at the bottom of the hill just after the entrance to Orr’s market, the speed limit is posted at 45 (as the hill climbs back up). Halfway down the hill on the 35mph side is a burned-out old brick house all covered in weeds and ivy. The police like to hide their trap in there pointing south and get you as you’re going down hill anticipating the 45mph sign directly in front of you. The prevailing speed on the entire road is at least 50mph. I got nabbed for 17 over.
