U.S. Route 30
The Hancock County sheriff’s office likes to sit along State Route 30 and enforce the 45 mph speed limit. They like to sit at the bottom of the steep grade and enforce the speed limit. At night they like to sit with there all their lights off. The State Police also patrol this hill. The are there espically on Friday and Saturday nights since there are several bars along this hill and the like to pull people over that come out of these bars. The Chester Police Department also likes to watch the bottom of the hill since that starts there city limits.
