Henderson, West Virginia Speed Traps

The Henderson Police office will sit on a side road and wait for you to reach the crest of the hill.

After you cross the Ohio river into WV, there is a four lane stretch of highway between two hills. You can coast downhill and do 60 easy. The Henderson City police are sitting in the dark on a connecting road between the two hills with radar. By the time you see them it is over. I was follwing closely behind someone else and was told I was doing 67 in a 55. He probably clocked the guy in front but I’m sure he was content to write one ticket at a time.
