Huntington, West Virginia Speed Traps

Coming off Exit 11 of I 64 going into town toward Hal Greer Blvd., this four lane divided road with a 55 mph limit suddenly turns into a 45 mph limit.

Approaching Hal Greer Blvd., just as the downhill section levels out, unmarked cars with radar sit on stone bridges to the right side of the road. Posted limit is 30 – flow of traffic is closer to 45.

On main roadways – 3rd and 5th avenues. Officer in both marked and unmarked. Usually parked off the right side and on private property and business parking lots (is this legal?) — Watch during mid-day but also in evening rush hour. The city in bad financially and trying to make-up, so watch out!
