Lewisburg, West Virginia Speed Traps

City of Lewisburg, WV on U S 219 just south of I-64…lurk in business parking areas and ticket tourists that come "to a town that :markets to the Tourist" for their business section of town….sort of luring them in and then pouncing on them….as a local..I see this as entrapment if not out right harrassment. Is that what we call "biting the hand that feeds you"…I’m sure some Tourists think twice before returning after such shabby treatment…cops out there creating enemies.

2 miles West of the Lewisburg Exit, Eastbound and Westbound, they position themselves at the end of a mountain, east bound you cannot see them till you come around the curve, west bound, you cannot see them until you pass them, too late then…WV State Troopers mostly, sometimes city police, sometimes county Sheriffs. (I-64 Near Lewisburg Exit)
