State Route 50 near Exxon/7-11 minimart
The area is at a speed of 65 mph. The troopers usually travel about fifteen miles in either direction of the landmark. They really hit the three mile radius hard as there are large hill/valley areas where drivers hit 80 mph. They know it and exploit it. the gas station is in one the valley areas. When you come up the hill doing maybe 70 or 75 you come over the apex and hit 80 for them to nail you. Thank goodness I have a radar detector. I have seen many others get caught. In fact, three this weekend (9/11/05) as I passed by the area twice.
