W. Washington Street near Railraod Tracks Into Charlestown

Ranson, West VirginiaJun 09, 20080 Comments

Coming out of Ranson heading into Charles Town on W. Washington St. Police sit on the right hand side of the Road in an abandonded lot. This spot is just after where there is the sharp left into Charles Town, if you’re going too fast, it’s too late to hit the brakes. And if you do hit the brakes, they are more likely to try and get ya. But that’s a Rail crossing, and lots of cars try to slow down.

Old Rt. 9/Rt. 115

Ranson, West VirginiaOct 19, 20030 Comments

The Ranson Police Officers use a lot of stationary Radar in town, Hiding behind buildings and then "jumping" out to get you. I got nailed at about 2 am and then again at 11 am when I was going to ask about my ticket. 7 over on the first and 5 over on the second. The Officers are polite, but the fines are BRUTAL! Over $400.00. Please drive the Speed Limit!!
