Shinnston City police Officers patrol this road continuously and give tickets for going 30mph on the posted 25mph road even late at night when there is not any traffic on the road!

You will find our "Deputy Dogs" hidden everywhere. They target young people and will stop you for touching the yellow line with your tire. The speed limit changes several times in 3 miles so you’re never sure of what the speed limit is. They prowl at night and stop people coming home from work over and over just to see "what you are doing out at night". Regardless of why they stop you, they will want to search your vehicle. Don’t let them! They abuse their authority. Actually I think they are trying to be another Summersville.
