Summersville, West Virginia Speed Traps

For those who think that summersville is not a speed trap it IS! They were the highest ranked department in the U.S. for handing out the most speeding tickets for at least 2 years. I admit i am a speeder, i do well over the speed limit(15-30+ mph) and have yet to recieve a ticket. I have been driving for a total of 3yrs. and been on rt. 19 several times. just watch your speed and try to keep with the faster traffic.

Speed limit 65 goes to 50 m.p.h. Clearly marked area is highly and critically monitered by hiding/visible units. These police will pull you over for going 51 m.p.h.! This is a money making operation for this township at your expense.
