Beloit, Wisconsin Speed Traps
State Highway 81 between McKinley Ave. and Frederick St.
The police sit in the Mattress Company driveway. As you go west on State Hwy. 81 you can not see them until you are past them. It is a nice wide road on the very outskirts of the city. The speed limit goes up to 35 in a couple blocks and within a couple more it goes to 55. They also patrol regularly moving east and catching vehicles driving west.
Townline Road
Town of Beloit and Rock County patrol Townline Rd between US Hwy 51 and Afton Rd. The speed limit was recently lowered to 45 mph!
US Highway 51 near Cranston Road
The Township police love to sit in peoples driveways as you are going north on 51. I would advise to exercise caution from Henry to at least Cranston.

State Highway Q near Swain Drive
This road is 55 mph then drops to 25 mph upon entering a cluster of residential homes. Police park in a private home’s driveway on the corner of Swain & Newark Rd.(Hwy Q)and radar traffic coming from the west mostly as this driveway is just below a crest of a hill. Early morning patrol and after school patrol as well.

US Highway 81 near 4th Street
Patrol cars sit in advanced auto parts parking lot and run radar east towards traffic coming over the bridge.
