Greendale, Wisconsin Speed Traps

The Greendale police are now assigned segways inside Southridge mall and the parking lots surrounding the mall. I was startled while driving through the lot days ago and observed a high speed segway attempting to pull me over with its oscillating cherries and blueberries. After finally deciding to pull my car over I was belittled by the officer and kept looking down as I was highly intimidated by his thick mustache and knee high leather boots. After being berated for approximately 8.5 minutes I broke down and begged for a ticket so he would just let me leave. I looked away for a moment and when I looked back he was gone. I did some research with people at the mall and they call this cop “The Segway Specter of Southridge.” He does exist, he is real, and he did mail me a plethora of citations in the mail which I received 2 days later. I will be paying these tickets right away as I don’t want to contest them and have to face The Segway Specter in court. If you get cited by him I suggest you do the same!!

Motorcycle cop on a trike, yes you read it right a freaking trike. This cop gets you for just looking over your shoulder at him. Don’t even think about raising an eyebrow or you will go to jail. I got 7 tickets my car towed and that cop left me standing there crying. I asked for a ride on that trike but he wouldn’t have it. When he left he did a wheelie. I should have wrote him a ticket, probably doesn’t have a license.

BEWARE! This department must have saturated patrols during the month of May. This cop sits in his squad on bentwood and clocks speeders going both directions on northway. This location is very close to the police station which allows for the backup officer to randomly appear on foot crawling between thick shrubery to assist. Then they both reapproach your car with the ticket. These guys were very professional and had excellent moustaches. WATCH OUT!

This motorcycle cop parks in the parkway. He uses the radar unit to catch speeders north and south on S. 92nd. St. and he sometimes sits in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn motel. I have noticed on several occasions men stopped in the parkway near the rest rooms just waiting in there cars. I’m sure they were either recently pulled over and cited or they do not want to get cited so they are waiting for the cop to leave. He sits far back in the parkway or parking lot so beware.

This speed trap is a tricky one. The main officer sits in his squad car in the Root River Parkway near picnic area 3 and 4 on the connecting bridge. He will clock speeders eastbound and westbound through the park near the Red Roof Inn motel. I always see guys stopped on the side of the road in this area near the bathrooms more than likely unsuspecting victims of this speed trap. This cop is always there during third shift hours.
