Jefferson, Wisconsin Speed Traps

If entering Jefferson on Highway 26 (Main Street). With in the 1st 1/4mile there may be a copper at Family Dollar parking lot or across street in Bank parking lot. Don’t speed up yet there maybe one waiting in Badger Bank or Old Andy’s parking lot. You should be safe until you cross the bridge but, just after you pass M&J’s liquor there may be a cop at the next Cross street (usually County boy in unmarked Black SUV) or a city copper in the dentist parking lot . Even though the next Large block is county Hub there are not many speed traps until you pass BP after next intersection (at lights there may be a copper in Bank parking lot or in cross streets stay slow until you get out of town .

There is almost always a Jefferson County or City of Jefferson squad sitting next to the river catching people as they leave town or coming into town. Slow down!

Well just dont speed anywhere in these towns in Jefferson County, there are more cops than people it seams, we will see them everywhere, in jefferson they sit in the old hardees parking lot and in the aprtment parking lot across the street, they are hard to spot and find nice places to be not noticed, they city of jeffeson cops are nicer than the sherrifs, and you will even have to watch out for state troopers in some areas, dont even bother to speed unless you can afford the ticket and points.
