40th Avenue @ The Xcel Power Station

Lake Hallie, WisconsinFeb 01, 20110 Comments

There is always a Lake Hallie Police Officer parked near the driveway of the Xcel Power Station on 40th Avenue. It used to be 45 mph on 40th Avenue, but they lowered the speed limit to 35. I think all of 40th Avenue is now. Watch out for the traffic officer. He is in a black squad car without a light bar on the roof.

Melby Street @ 113th STreet

Lake Hallie, WisconsinJan 31, 20110 Comments

While traveling north or south on the 53 Bypass you come across the Melby Street exit. The Bypass is a 65 mph zone and Melby Street is a 35 mph zone. Be careful while traveling west on Melby Street from the Bypass because there is always a Lake Hallie Police Officer parked on 113th Street.

In the U-turn lane near the overpass. Fortunately, the lights are so poorly-synced that few have the opportunity to speed there.
