Nekoosa, Wisconsin Speed Traps

Police sit in a small driveway at the top of the hill on the south side of the road about 400 feet from the curve. You usually have just exited from Hwy G 1/4 mile past the Hwy 173 turn and are not used to the lower speed limit. Add to the fact the road is downhill and it is even harder to slow down in time. It also hard to see the speed trap from east as they are hidden just off the road behind some trees.

Limit is 30 mph and they like to make sure you don’t go 31 mph.

The State Patrol and Town of Rome Police sit and wait in a pull out on the east side of Hwy 13 about a half mile south of Pritzl’s Gas and convenience store. They love to sit there at night and no one can see them until they are past them. A great radar trap!!!
