Ridgeway, Wisconsin Speed Traps

The speed limit remains at 25MPH well out of town and past the overhead highway. They sit on either side of the overhead and as you are going downhill they clock you right before the speed limit changes to 55MPH. Usually late evenings.

If headed west on 18/151, you’ll go down a large hill where Ridgeway police sit waiting for you to let the hill push you over 65.

As you come into Belmont from either Platteville to it’s west or Mineral Point from it’s east the highway has a steep hill you have to down. At the bottom of the hill the local cop will sit in the parking lot with several other cars around him. You need to stay on the brakes going down this hill our he will get you.
