State patrol sitting in the median using Laser, You will not see him until you are 20 yards away. On every single one of my trips through this area my Valentine-1 alerted me at least 1/2 miles before ever seeing him sitting there. He continues to check your speed every 2 seconds until you are past him. I have not gotten nailed in this area, and I am informing you so you don’t either. The speed limit is posted at the max allowable state speed of 65 MPH, but traffic is usually moving at least 15-mph over PSL during the daytime in this area.
Hwy O (S. Main St.)
Squad sits in the driveway leading up to the Dept. of Public Works (649 S. Main). Drive is wooded and squads have a special cutout spot in the drive for them to sit. Speed limit is 25mph, and they are serious about it!
Sth 57 @ Mink Ranch Rd.
County sits in turnaround directly north of overpass. By the time you see them they’ve got ya. This area is also just after a speed change (65 to 55)
